When should you clean your toys?
Your toys should be properly cleaned before and after every use. This might seem like overkill but when it comes to your health its necessary. Cleaning your toys will also prolong the life of your toys.
Cleaning and properly storing your sex toys is very important for the quality of your product as well as the health consequences if you use a dirty toy. Dirty toys can collect lint, dust, and other debris you don’t want on your toys. Dirty toys can also expose you to bacteria, viruses, and parasites.
How To Clean Your Toys
To clean your toys, give them a quick rinse with warm water. Then spray them with your toy cleaner. Leave it for 30 seconds to let the cleaner work. Then clean any harder to reach areas (ridges, nodules) before rinsing the cleaner off. Then use warm water to rinse the toy cleaner off.
To dry you can either leave your toy to air dry or you can dry it with a clean towel. A benefit to cleaning and drying your toys is that you will prevent dust and bacteria build up and keep them in top notch condition.
A Couple More Tips
If air drying, make sure to let them air dry thoroughly (laid on kitchen paper is ideal) or dry with a clean towel.
Remove any batteries and close the battery compartments tightly before cleaning.

Different materials all require a different type of care. If your toy is made of a mix of materials then each materials should be properly cleaned in its own way. Here is a quick list of different material and how to clean them.
- ABS Plastic : Warm water and sex toy cleaner.
- Cotton : Cold water and sex toy cleaner.
- Crystal, Stone, Wood : Warmwater and sex toy cleaner.
- Glass, Pyrex, Silicone : Motorized – Warmwater and sex toy cleaner. Nonmotorized – Can also use boiling water or sanitize in dishwasher.
- Jelly Rubber, Elastper, Latex, Cyberskin : Room temperature water, sex toy cleaner and a soapy cloth.
- Leather : Spot clean with a damp, soapy washcloth.
- PVC and Vinyl : Warm water, sex toy cleaner, and a soapy wash cloth.
- Nylon : Hand wash with soap.
Different Materials also all require a different way to properly store them. When storing your toys a good idea is to store them separate. For example if you have Jelly or other soft toys there is a possibility of them melting together. For the sake of longevity and toys with batteries that can be removed should be as batteries can drain or corrode if left in toys too long. For rechargeable toys make sure you charge them periodically to keep them working best.
