With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, lovers around the world are getting ready to celebrate! Sometimes planning the perfect date can be tuff especially with the expectations of Valentines Day. Well, you are in luck as we have four great ideas that you can use for the perfect dates in Alberta.
For the Outdoorsy Type
This is for all you outdoorsy, adventure loving couples. Now we know that in Alberta Valentines Day is usually chilly, so you are going to want to make sure that you dress warm. Then get a bag of firewood, some marshmallows, and blanket. Find out where you can buy/rent some snowshoes in your area and get ready to do some winter trails. Head out on the trails and take in the great outdoors. Also, if you have a 4-legged friend I bet they would love to go with you. After your hike find a quiet spot to have a fire, roast some marshmallows and enjoy a favorite beverage of yours.

Luxurious Date
If you are looking to have a classier kind of date, then this is the right one for you. Start with treating your partner to a relaxing massage to start the day out. Probably feeling a bit hungry afterwards so head out for a great lunch. We recommend the Fairmont in Edmonton, Last Best Brewing in Calgary, and Farm + Fire in Banff. After a great lunch its time to relax even more with a Pedicure! Getting a pedicure is very relaxing and a fantastic time with your partner (by the way it is manly to get a pedicure). After the pedicure get dressed up all fancy because you are heading out for dinner! A couple places we recommend for dinner is Woodwork in Edmonton, and Model Milk in Calgary. Make sure to of gotten your partner a gift! A luxurious sex toy makes for a great gift and will bring some laughter and joy to the evening. Head on back to your hotel. We recommend Ice District in Edmonton, and Le Germain in Calgary pull out some chocolate covered strawberries to each on the bed and let the evening activities begin.

Your first date with your partner no matter what it was is always memorable and is guaranteed to impress your significant other. It requires a bit of memory and planning to make it just right, but it is going to be well worth it. Take a walk down the same streets where you first kissed.
